About Us:
Crocus Hill Garden is a 1 acre organic vegetable farm run by Julie and Thomas near Maidstone, SK. We grow a wide variety of vegetables and market them primarily via a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program to the Saskatoon and Maidstone communities. The CSA functions similar to a subscription program, where our members pre-pay in the spring for a share of the harvest, and we meet them at a central pickup location on a biweekly basis throughout the growing season to distribute their vegetables.

Position Overview
We are seeking 1-2 local youth (under 30) to support us this summer with weed management, bin-washing, harvesting, and other farm maintenance. Generally, Friday/Saturdays will be for weeding, washing bins and general maintenance tasks, while Sunday/Mondays will be for harvesting, washing and preparing produce for our Tuesday CSA distributions.
While the work is physically demanding and sometimes repetitive, we always prioritize safety and well-being on the farm. Our ideal employee loves going outside and getting their hands dirty, and is comfortable with mindless manual labour tasks.
