COMPOST DROP-OFF PROGRAM

Feed farmland, not landfills.

This compost program is designed specifically for apartment-dwellers and other households not currently being serviced by the city green cart program. It’s a simple and accessible way to step up your kitchen composting game, reduce landfill waste and help us build soil on our farm.

How it works:

  1. Sign up anytime for a CHG Compost Program subscription.

  2. Take your e-receipt to one of our partner businesses (see list below) during their business hours to claim your first empty bucket and lid.

  3. Take your bucket home and fill it with acceptable food scraps. (See list below).

  4. When your bucket is full, put a lid on it, head back to the business you got it from, and drop it off at the customer service counter. They will swap you for a fresh bucket and lid.

  5. We take your compost out to the farm and begin the process of turning it into soil.

  6. We wash the buckets so you don’t have to!
